  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil, olive or avocado oil
  • 2 tbsps. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/3 cup chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 tsp. onion salt.
  • Salt or pepper to taste

  1. Prepare skillet, and then heat oil in medium level. Put chili powder and flour then stir them. Keep heat at medium and stir constantly until it looks brown.
  2. Put cumin, tomato sauce, garlic powder, onion salt, and water into skillet. Keep stirring and cook for ten minutes. Make sure those ingredients are completely mixed.
  3. Add salt and simmer until the sauce is thickened.
