Ingredients

The Cake

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter

  • 2 cups unsalted butter

Instructions

The Cake

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease with butter.
  • Mix flour, sugar, salt and baking powder in a large bowl.
  • Partially, add eggs, cotton candy extract, and milk and turn the mixer to medium speed and mix it. Be careful, do not over mix.
  • Add butter and mix.
  • Split the batter into five bowls and die one purple, one green, one pink and one blue and one plain. Mix them well.

  • Split the batter into five bowls and die one purple, one green, one pink and one blue and one plain. Mix them well.

Assembling

  • Place one layer of cake on a serving plate, pipe the plain frosting, and smooth it with a bench scraper. Chill for 20 minutes.
  • Put another layer and repeat step 1.
  • Splat the colored frosting on the top and side of the cake in a random pattern.
  • Run the bench scraper along the sides and top to smooth the frosting and blend the color.
  • Add cotton candy on the top of it along with any decoration that you want.
