Ingredients

  • pounds of ground beef. You can pick any part of the beef that suits your preference.
  • 1/3 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons of onion that is chopped or minced
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, or anything that’s the same with basils, oregano and thyme. All of them should be the dried one.
  • 1 tablespoon of ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 beaten egg

  • 2 teaspoons of olive oil

Gravy ingredients:

  • 8 ounces of sliced mushrooms
  • ½ cup of sliced onion
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • cups of beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon of ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley

Instructions

  • Mix the breadcrumbs, beef, the Italian seasoning, egg, Worcestershire sauce, onion, ketchup, salt, and pepper. All are mixed in a large bowl.
  • Shape the meat mixture into 4 oval patties. Try to make them all in the same size.
  • In a large pan, heat the oil. Set it over medium-high heat.
  • In one layer, put the patties in the pan. Each side has to be cooked for 5-6 minutes, wait until it turned golden brown.
  • Once the meat is removed from the pan, put it on a plate. Use a foil to cover the meat.
  • Put butter in the pan and melt it. Add some mushrooms and onion, as well as the salt and pepper.
  • Wait for 3-5 minutes to cook the vegetables. Check it they’ve softened.
